Guiyang HIDZ projects make list of big data demo projects

Two projects in Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, made the list of the 2020 big data industry development pilot demonstration projects, according to Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

The successful Guiyang HIDZ candidates are a big data technology automotive consumption field and intelligent applications platform by Shiji Hengtong Technology Co and a smart city 3D command and dispatch system from Guizhou Beidou Space Information Technology Co.

The first project is a big data intelligent system platform which can form a comprehensively managed, human-accurate transportation network through various types of subsystems of data information collection, data cleaning and analysis.

Guiyang HIDZ officials said it can provide data basic services for the organic combination of transport-related business and surrounding commercial services -- effectively improving the digitalization, networking and intelligence of transportation services.

Relying on technologies such as 3D visualization, big data, cloud computing, the internet of things and mobile internet, the smart city 3D command and dispatch system can integrate surveillance videos, access controls and alarms to realize 3D visualization management, pre-alarms and pre-planned electronic visualizations.

Officials said Guiyang HIDZ will continue to fully support resident companies to do a great job in project start-ups, promotions and applications, talent training and business cooperation.

It will also continue to promote the high-quality development of information technologies such as cloud computing, the internet of things, blockchain and artificial intelligence.
