Currently, more than 90 percent of industrial enterprises above a designated size, those with annual sales of 20 million yuan ($2.8 million) or more, in Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone in Guiyang city in Southwest China's Guizhou province have achieved 100 percent output capability, according to Guiyang HIDZ officials.
They said that since the start of the year, in the face of the sudden outbreak of novel coronavirus pneumonia, Guiyang HIDZ has actively helped companies resume work and production.
In recent days, the production workshop of Guizhou Hangyu Science and Technology Development Co has been busy with each production line at full capacity, and workers are stepping up production orders delayed due to the epidemic.
The company's output value reached 52.17 million yuan ($7.36 million) in February this year, a year-on-year increase of 53.49 percent. The output value in the first quarter is expected to reach more than 177 million yuan, for a year-on-year increase of 61.51 percent.
During the epidemic prevention and control period, the company’s logistics and transportation was affected and its products were not sold in a timely manner, resulting in difficulty in receiving funds and problems with working capital.
Guiyang HIDZ learned about the company's difficulties and offered it 13 million yuan in financing loans.
In response to similar problems faced by enterprises, Guiyang HIDZ actively held government-enterprise-bank exchange meetings. So far, 29.28 million yuan has been allocated as support funds for 17 enterprises.
