Guiyang's daily production capacity of masks reaches 2.4m

As of March 24, Guiyang's daily production capacity of masks reached 2.4 million, with 28 existing production lines, according to the Guiyang bureau of industry and information technology.

On the day, the city produced 1.32 million masks and its cumulative production of masks reached 28.8 million, officials said.

In order to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic and ensure the supply of the anti-epidemic materials, a total of 10 companies in Guiyang have participated in the epidemic emergency response and resumed work and production immediately, mainly producing medical surgical masks and disposable medical face masks.

The 10 companies are Guizhou Tianshi Medical Equipment Co, Guizhou Jiwei Medical Equipment Co, Guiyang Dechangxiang Pharmaceutical Co, Guizhou Xinhanfang Biotechnology Co, Guizhou Chien Yeh Pharmaceutical Packaging Co, Guizhou Hanfang Pharmaceutical Co, Guizhou Sanuokang Medical Devices Co, Guiyang Zhenfu Electronic Technology Co, Guizhou Le'erma Medical Devices Co and Guizhou Kaiersi Medical Devices Co.
