Guiyang firms allowed to apply for financial incentive funds

From late April, manufacturers above a designated size in Guiyang city and projects under construction that are included on a list of major projects and key projects in China's Southwest Guizhou province, may apply for financial incentive funds, according to the bureau of industry and information technology in the province's capital.

Officials said the move is to implement policies and guidelines on production for manufacturers above a designated size, those with annual sales of 20 million yuan ($2.83 million) or more.

The guidelines specify application times, as well as the processes and reviews and standards of the eight supporting policies for company employment, market developments, new projects put into production, raw materials procurement, logistics costs, electricity costs, discount loan guarantees and equity investment.

The applications adopt an online applications model, meaning that eligible companies can log in to the Shudu Guiyang (数读贵阳) APP, to fill in and submit applications materials as required.

The Guiyang bureau of industry and information technology and the bureau of statistics in Guiyang will conduct audits in accordance with the declarations and submissions checklist and review standards.
