Guizhou holds its first provincial industrial design competition

Organized by Guizhou Provincial Department of Industry and Informatization and Guizhou University, the review ceremony of Guizhou industrial design competition was launched at the university on June 29. The competition is a key part of Guiyang industrial products expo, which is the first provincial industrial design competition held by Guizhou. 

Since the competition launched in March, it has collected 913 pieces works from 60 enterprises and 34 universities, covering fields like equipment manufacturing, comprehensive intelligent medical and health products, product packaging, tourism and cultural creativity. The competition invited famous experts from Zhejiang, Chongqing and Guizhou Universities to be judges and select outstanding designs that meet the needs of Guizhou's industrial economic development. The winning works will be displayed and given awards at Guiyang industrial products expo.

The organizing committee of the competition will assist contestants in connecting with relevant manufacturing enterprises in the province, further promote the industrialization of design achievements, push forward the industrial transformation and upgrading in Guizhou province and develop the industrial economy. The contest is intended to become a platform for the implementation and transformation of industry and projects in Guizhou province.
