Guiyang City in Southwest China's Guizhou province has announced the first batch of strategic emerging industry public service complexes. This marks a significant step toward boosting innovation and industrial transformation.

Following a rigorous evaluation process, the Guiyang Development and Reform Commission has identified two complexes: Guizhou Science City Technology Innovation Park and Guiyang Huoju Software Park.

The Guizhou Science City Technology Innovation Park in the Shawan Eco-Tech Industrial Park is a major platform for technology transfer and innovation. It has attracted over 100 companies in sectors like new-generation information technology and high-end equipment manufacturing, facilitating the commercialization of over 100 technological achievements. The park serves as a hub for talent, providing resources for research, development, and tech incubation.

Guiyang Huoju Software Park is the province's first national-level specialized incubator. It focuses on fostering startups in IT, software development, and big data. With a 44,300-square-meter incubation space, it has supported over 600 companies and generated more than 400 million yuan ($55.38 million) in revenue.

The Guiyang Development and Reform Commission aims to enhance the platforms' innovation and service capabilities, ensuring they play a pivotal role in the city's high-quality economic development and the cultivation of new industrial strengths.
