As part of establishing "15-minute life circles", Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area have introduced community-based Children's Homes to nurture young residents. These centers provide after-school tutoring, recreational spaces, and social activities, allowing children to learn, play, and grow within their neighborhoods.

The Huizhancheng Children's Home in Guanshanhu district, founded in 2023, offers reading, entertainment, arts, and safety education, assisting parents with busy schedules. "The Children's Home is nearby and reliable, which puts parents at ease," said resident Ms Dai. This community hub has hosted over 100 activities this year, including safety lectures and hands-on crafts.

The Children's Home in the Youlin community of Yunyan district, established in 2023, encourages young residents to participate in diverse events, such as cultural exhibitions and environmental activities. Resident Mr Gong noted that his child's experience with waste-sorting activities increased his environmental awareness and social responsibility.

The "Pea House" Children's Home in Yuhong community, founded in 2022, offers after-school and temporary childcare services. According to Ms Yang, a local parent, her children have become more outgoing and socially aware since participating in community activities.

These Children's Homes foster a supportive environment for children's development and are becoming cherished resources for Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area families.
