Guiyang and Gui'an measures boost business environment

Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area are said to be dedicated to optimizing their business environment. To do so, they've implemented a range of effective measures to support the development of local business enterprises.

The initiative encompasses streamlining administrative approvals, promoting technological innovation, nurturing talent and ensuring fair competition.

The local government is prioritizing the creation of a market-oriented, rule-of-law and international business atmosphere – while enhancing the "Gui Ren Service" brand to foster a favorable external environment for various enterprises.

As the first comprehensive big data pilot area in China, Guiyang and Gui'an are further boosting the digital economy's role in high-quality development.

Key policy documents have been issued to attract and retain talent for big data, while dynamic updates to the digital economy roadmap focus on inviting investment in data centers.

Regular visits to enterprises are being made by municipal officials to ensure continuous support through policy promotions and problem resolutions.

Recent revisions to the implementation rules for national enterprise technology centers have enhanced innovation platform services.

From January to June, revenues from the software and information technology services sector hit 47.41 billion yuan ($5.75 billion), marking a 27.7-percent increase, while the electronics information manufacturing industry saw a 28.2-percent gain.

Furthermore, Guiyang and Gui'an are advancing cross-border trade and fostering external economic exchanges, with the total import and export volume reaching 38.35 billion yuan from January to August – representing a 15-percent increase over the previous year.
