In the first half of 2024, Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province launched 503 new projects, with a total investment of 110.27 billion yuan ($15.44 billion). A total of 153 projects exceeded 1 billion yuan each, contributing 100.98 billion yuan.
Guiyang and Gui'an have implemented innovative service mechanisms, consolidating resources to ensure the provision of funds, land, and energy for project construction. This approach has effectively accelerated the progress of major provincial projects, bolstering fixed asset growth.
Guiyang and Gui'an will continue to prioritize projects and enhance lifecycle management services. The regions will use joint approval platforms created by key departments and maintain efficient project approval processes through temporary centralized offices and streamlined procedures. A problem-solving mechanism will also be established to address challenges in project construction, further driving high-quality development.
