The city and district governments of Guiyang have issued plans to invest 230 million yuan ($31.61 million) in Luodian county for collaborative projects in the current year.

To date, 94.25 million yuan has been allocated this year, advancing 104 projects on schedule.

Key achievements have included the sale of 5,400 breeding pigs and 25,312 hogs so far, the production of 2,095 metric tons of eggs, 1,239 tons of vegetables and 100.37 tons of edible mushrooms.

The push is said to have supported 53 family farms and large-scale planters, distributing 8.0296 million yuan in dividends.

Key vegetable bases planted 1,700 mu (113.33 hectares) for early spring and 1,200 mu for the winter supply, with 2,800 and 2,600 tons of vegetables hitting the market, respectively.

An additional 20,316 mu were planted under contract farming, with 17 centralized collection points established.

Market cooperation has promoted Luodian's quality products in Guiyang – establishing two new direct supply bases covering 800 mu and integrating Luodian's products into the Guizhou e-commerce platform.

The effort is said to have led to the sale of 3,113 tons of products worth 22.07 million yuan at provincial and municipal fairs.

Labor cooperation included organizing 10 job fairs – offering 14,500 job opportunities to Luodian's workforce – as well as certifying 113 workers and relocating 4,374 individuals for employment.

Educational and medical collaborations saw Guiyang schools and hospitals pair with counterparts in Luodian, providing training and improving services to enhance local capabilities and living standards.
