In recent years, Gui'an New Area has capitalized on its advantages as a core area for digital economic innovation, establishing innovative platforms and vigorously promoting the development of the digital economy.

Several months ago, Guizhou Quanan Mingling Technology Co successfully completed underwater blasting work using digital electronic detonators and wireless technology, marking a significant milestone in underwater wireless detonation technology in China.

As a privately-owned enterprise specializing in electronic detonator production, the company has become a leader in the smart civil explosives industry, supported by its strong scientific research and development capabilities. In 2023, it achieved sustained growth in production and sales, with its tax revenue increasing by over 50 percent.

Guiyang Big Data Sci-Tech Innovation City has also prioritized digital economy development in recent years. Supported by its technological innovation and talent aggregation, it is striving to become the province's center for science and technology innovation.

As a vital platform for Guizhou's big data development and technological innovation, it will continue to advance the construction of China Software Park, the National Big Data (Guizhou) Comprehensive Experimental Zone Artificial Intelligence Training Ground, and the Big Science City Incubation Base.

By the end of 2023, approximately 46 percent of the industrial enterprises in Gui'an New Area engaged in research and development activities, with the total number of high-tech enterprises expected to reach 83, showcasing vibrant innovation.
