Guian adds green warehouse

The China Association of Warehousing and Distribution recently issued a notice recognizing 22 green warehouses nationwide. Among them, COFCO Coca-Cola Beverages Co located in Guian New Area is listed after it received the certification of "First-level Green Warehouse," which is the highest-level qualification in the country in this field.

The assessment criteria for green warehouses include energy, land, water and material conservation, as well as the development and utilization of new energy in storage facilities.

The evaluation focuses on the implementation of green and environmentally friendly measures during the construction and operation of warehouses.

The first enterprise in Guian to receive the "First-level Green Warehouse" certification, COFCO Coca-Cola officially commenced production at its manufacturing plant, which covers an area of 157 mu (10.47 hectares), in Guian in July of last year.

The factory employs world-class advanced equipment and technology in the production process, coupled with strict management systems.

In its daily operations, it implements logistics standardization management requirements, provides continuous guidance for standardized operations, and vigorously enhances professionalism and risk prevention capabilities.

At the same time, the factory places a high emphasis on low-carbon environmental protection, focusing on the use of green and clean energy and the recycling of resources. It reduces factory energy consumption through measures such as LED lighting, and variable frequency motors, thereby minimizing its environmental impact.

The factory has obtained certifications for an ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.

These certifications signify that the company is making further strides towards standardization, and refined management in aspects such as production environment and energy conservation.
