With the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China about to be held, Liu Hao, deputy head of Xifeng county, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, was interviewed on a municipal TV program on Oct 9, and invited to share with viewers the experience he gained from the county's rural governance and reforms.
Xifeng has been focusing on reforms to build 15-minute living circles, establish more farm produce markets and parking lots, and renovate the old residential areas, streets, and shanty towns.
According to Liu, the county government distributed resources in 12 major areas, including education, industry, culture, healthcare, sports, children, the elderly, food, housing, and transportation.
The interview was played on many local online platforms, with the total viewer number reaching 85,000.
