Guiyang, Guian make progress in new-type industrialization over past 10 years

Over the past decade, Guiyang and Guian New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province, have focused on new-type industrialization.

Guiyang and Guian have built four 100-billion-yuan industries related to big data software information service, electronic information manufacturing, advanced equipment manufacturing, and new energy vehicles.

Guiyang's industrial added value surged from 53.47 billion yuan in 2012 to 100.68 billion yuan in 2021.

In the first half of 2022, Guiyang introduced 301 industrial projects and accelerated progress on a number of major industrial projects.

During the 10-year period, traditional industries in Guiyang and Guian have been upgraded, achieving cost reduction, quality improvement, energy reduction and benefit increase through the integration of digital technology.

As a traditional manufacturing enterprise, Guizhou Tyre Co is prioritizing intelligent manufacturing along with intelligent supply chain and intelligent marketing to transform and upgrade the company.

Moving forward, Guiyang and Guian will continue to promote the development of seven major industrial leading industries including electronic information manufacturing, advanced equipment manufacturing, new energy vehicles, phosphorus chemical industry, aluminum and aluminum processing, health medicine, and ecological food, to improve the development level of industrial clusters.
