It was learned from the Guiyang Development and Reform Commission that from January to April, an additional investment of 566 million yuan ($84.85 million) was put into key projects in Guiyang and Guian New Area's information technology service industry cluster, and related projects were progressing in an orderly manner.
In the field of industrial internet, projects such as the Industrial Internet Identification Analysis System Application Innovation Promotion Center, the Industrial Internet Identification Analysis Secondary Node, and the Guizhou Industrial Cloud Collaborative Manufacturing Innovation Center have continued to make progress.
An additional investment of 3.3 million yuan was put into the Industrial Internet Identification Analysis System Application Innovation Promotion Center project, while an additional investment of 20.09 million yuan was put into the Industrial Internet Identification Analysis Secondary Node project.
In addition, network infrastructure construction continued to advance. A total of 719 new 5G base stations were built in Guiyang and Guian, accounting for 23.4 percent of the 2022 target. An additional investment of 152 million yuan was put into the Tencent Qixing Data Center in Guian, and an additional investment of 355 million yuan was put into the Huawei Cloud Data Center in Guian.
In addition, 10 projects including the second phase of "data intelligence in Guiyang", the second phase of a face-swiping payment project in Guiyang, the improvement of intelligent networked vehicle chassis wire controls and the construction of flexible production lines, and the Guiyang Health and Medical Big Data Governance System project are progressing on schedule.
It has been reported that in the first quarter of this year, the scale of the information technology service industry cluster in Guiyang and Guian was 24.45 billion yuan and still expanding.
