Responsibilities: The department is responsible for cost supervision and auditing of the price cost catalog, price hearing catalog and agricultural product cost list managed by the government, as well as products and services under temporary price intervention, to help relevant government departments to make decisions.

The department is also in charge of the construction and management of Guiyang's agricultural product cost survey bases. It carries out investigations, calculations, accounting, research and consultations related to the cost of products and services that are not listed in the cost supervision and audit catalog.
