Operation Coordination Department

Responsibilities: The operation coordination department is responsible for studying and formulating comprehensive energy development strategies, plans and policies and coordinating major issues related to comprehensive energy development and reform; planning the comprehensive energy development and the national economic and social development; and putting forward the proposal of the total energy consumption control target, taking the lead in formulating the work plan for the total energy consumption control, and organizing the implementation. The department undertakes the overall dispatching and guarantee of social operation factors, including coal, power, oil, gas, and transportation, coordinates issues in the economic operation and energy market, and makes recommendations. It also coordinates power production, formulates development plans and policies, and organizes implementation. Other responsibilities of the department include management of wind energy, light energy, nuclear energy, pumped storage and other energy; cooperation with Guizhou provincial energy bureau in comprehensive work, and with relevant industry authorities at the municipal level in professional energy management work; and examination, approval, approval, registration or report of major energy projects, and their implementation. It undertakes the daily work of the Guiyang municipal innovative new energy demonstration city leading group office.
