Meeting to ensure energy supply in winter

Guiyang's development and reform commission held a meeting Dec 9 to ensure adequate energy emergency supplies this winter and until next spring, hosted by Wu Yining, director of the Guiyang city emergency energy supply leading group office. 

During the meeting, the leading group arranged the deployment of the winter-to-spring supply of coal, power, oil and gas across the city, and urged representatives from relevant government organs to attach great importance to ensuring the supply during that period. 

The meeting also said smooth communication, research and judgment on the supply were also required, as well as detailed planning for emergencies, clear fulfillment of responsibilities and implementation of various measures.

The meeting called for strict examination of any potential risks in a bid to ensure the supply work proceeds properly. 

Representatives from some city government organs reported on emergency energy supplies, while others from Qingzhen, Kaiyang, Xifeng and Guizhou Gas Group gave reports on gas supplies in their respective zones.
