Guiyang performs well in credit monitoring

Updated: 2019-09-27

Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, was listed among the "top 10 most improved cities in credit monitoring" at the 2019 China Credit City Development Summit that opened in Jinan, Shandong province, on Sept 24.

Guiyang moved up nine places from 35th in March 2018 to 26th in July 2019, according to the City Credit Monitoring Monthly Report 7 (2019) released by the China Economic Information Network and organized by the State Information Center.

The China Economic Information Network is authorized by the National Development and Reform Commission to monitor the credit construction of cities above the county level, and then give monthly and quarterly reports as well as analyses.

The report focuses on the credit information of each city in the four aspects of government credit, business credit, social credit and judicial credibility.

It report effectively guides local governments in implementing the credit construction deployed by the central government through big data analysis.

The credit ranking of Guiyang was relatively low for a long time after city credit monitoring started. To handle the outstanding problems, the Guiyang Municipal Development and Reform Commission made corresponding improvements based on the study of the credit monitoring mechanism.

The city has since then made great progress in credit construction through various measures including credit data collection and sharing, credit website supervision and credit blacklisting and penalties for breaking faith.

The Guiyang Municipal Development and Reform Commission will accelerate the collection, sharing, exchange and application of credit information to promote the construction of a credit reward and punishment system.

In addition, it will promote the construction of "Credit Guiyang" to continuously strength social credit awareness and improve the credit environment.
