According to Bai Deguang, a staff member of the garden, last year marked the first time the garden's hydrangeas were opened to the public. After a full year of careful nurturing and scientific cultivation, this year's hydrangeas are thriving more than ever. The planting area has been expanded to 1.5 times its original size, offering visitors an even more immersive floral wonderland.
Adding to the charm, several adorable sika deer now call the garden home. When the hydrangeas are in full bloom, these gentle creatures can be seen strolling gracefully among the flowers and along the paths, nibbling peacefully in their enchanting surroundings.

The garden features two main types of hydrangeas: bigleaf hydrangea and Chinese snowball viburnum, each with different blooming periods to accommodate visitors' schedules throughout the season. Bigleaf hydrangeas are already sprouting fresh green buds and are expected to bloom first in May, with over 50 varieties on display. Chinese snowball viburnums will follow in early July, each variety boasting stunning, camera-ready blossoms.
Last year, during hydrangea season, the garden received around 200,000 visits, earning widespread praise for its breathtaking sea of flowers and quality services.
