Baiyun district advances integrated urban medical consortium

The signing ceremony for the Guiyang Second Urban Medical Group, along with a disciplinary exchange event, was held on Nov 11 at Baiyun District People's Hospital.

Under the new agreement, the Guiyang Second Urban Medical Group's general hospital (Jinyang Hospital) and Baiyun District People's Hospital will adopt a "full trusteeship + integration" model to establish a co-construction reform pilot for general surgery and specialty. This will further promote the sharing of high-quality medical resources from top-tier hospitals.

In recent years, Baiyun district has vigorously promoted the construction of a tightly integrated urban medical consortium to enhance regional medical service capacity. With strong support from the Guiyang Bureau of Health, the Baiyun district branch of the Guiyang Second Urban Medical Group has made significant progress this year. Regional medical service levels have been elevated, and satisfaction among local people has steadily improved.

The general hospital of the Guiyang Second Urban Medical Group will fully utilize its role as a city-level top-tier hospital to deepen cooperation in technical management, talent cultivation, scientific research innovation, bidirectional referrals, and resource sharing. This collaboration aims to enhance Baiyun District People's Hospital's medical, teaching, research, and management capabilities.
