Baiyun district in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, has been increasing investment in agricultural industries, optimizing agricultural structure, and improving rural infrastructure, comprehensively transforming the countryside.
Harnessing its unique location, resources, and climate, Baiyun district is accelerating the adjustment of its agricultural industry structure, focusing on market supply and income growth to build a modern urban agricultural system. The district is vigorously developing the "1+3" industrial model, which seeks to ensure a stable grain yield and create a strong edible fungi industry, vegetable industry, and fruit industry to drive rural vitalization.

Meanwhile, the district is implementing rural infrastructure and habitat environment improvement projects. From 2023 to 2024, the district has secured 9.99 million yuan ($1.38 million) in financial subsidies for rural comprehensive reform, which is being used for village public welfare and beautiful village construction. This year, the district is further enhancing rural infrastructure and governance efficiency to advance the construction of demonstration areas for rural sojourn.
