Baiyun district witnesses establishment of data technology industry-education alliance

The establishment ceremony of the Guiyang Data Technology Application Industry-Education Alliance was held at the Hengshutang Data Annotation Industrial Park in the Baiyun Economic Development Zone in Baiyun district, Guiyang on Oct 13.

Bu Lan, secretary of the Baiyun district Party committee, and Luo Songhua, secretary of the Party committee of Guizhou Electronic Commerce Vocational College, both delivered speeches at the event.

Bu emphasized the creation of a modern industrial system, promoting the development of new industrial parks, edge computing centers, and data annotation industries. She also highlighted the importance of enhancing cooperation between government, universities, enterprises, and research institutions to create a public platform.

Luo stated that the establishment of the alliance is an important step in cultivating high-quality data technology application talent. With strong support from government departments, enterprises, and relevant units, Guizhou Electronic Commerce Vocational College will integrate resources to train more high-quality data application talent for the digital industrialization of Guizhou.

During the signing ceremony, Guizhou Electronic Commerce Vocational College signed a framework cooperation agreement with Guizhou Hengqiu Intelligent Technology Co. Luo presented the "Off-Campus Practice and Teaching Base" and "Teacher-Enterprise Practice Mobile Station" plaques to the company on behalf of the college.
