In recent years, Baiyun district of Guiyang has been enhancing urban functions and improving quality of life while also preserving the city's history and culture, creating a city of both modern beauty and antique charm.
Exemplifying these efforts is the "STArtz' District" at Aluminum City Memory Cultural and Creative Industry Park, which has been transformed from an abandoned factory into a trendy hotspot.

The "STArtz' District" was once the workshop of Guizhou Aluminum Factory's auto repair company, but has now become a diverse art space combining painting, food, camping, music, and photo taking.
With a total area exceeding 3,000 square meters, the "STArtz' District" is vibrant, charming, and dynamic, providing a relaxed and entertaining place for self-expression, exchanging ideas, and engaging in hobbies.

"We explored all of Guiyang before finally settling on the current spot. We focus on music and art, creating entertainment content for the youth," said Li Xiaoting, head of the "STArtz' District".
From improving living environments to updating public spaces to transforming abandoned factories into art and cultural districts, these initiatives provide the public with a great place to hang out, where they can experience the unique old-town flavor of Baiyun district.
