Baiyun district in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, signed 16 major project agreements during its investment promotion event held on March 30, according to local media reports.
The project involves key industrial fields such as electronic information manufacturing, specialty food, environmental protection, new energy, and big data and has a total investment of 4.29 billion yuan ($623 million).
The projects include a charging pile production base project to be built by Guizhou Tianxinxin Energy Technology Co, a high-end equipment production base to be built by Fujian Sibosen Machinery Manufacturing Co, and a liquor brewing base to be built by Guizhou Guolian Liquor Industry Co.
