Baiyun district in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is to speed up the promotion of its agricultural modernization and rural vitalization, with a new and recently released implementation plan.
With the demonstration villages as the core, Baiyun district will strive to have more than 40 percent of its administrative villages achieve a collective operating income of more than 500,000 yuan ($72,710) in 2023.
In terms of implementing its modern industrial strengthening project, Baiyun district will focus on the "three systems", which include the equipment system, public service system, and security system, as well as strive to increase farmers' income.
This year, the district will take its six demonstration villages, which are Jianpo, Qingshan, Diansha, Lengshui, Penglai, and Shilong, as the core to build a demonstration corridor belt to showcase its livable, business-friendly and beautiful villages.
