Major wire, cable project goes into production in Baiyun

The high-end equipment wire and cable production line of Guizhou C-K'INGDOM Copper Aluminum Co went into production, with a ceremony held in Baiyun district, Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on March 23.

The ceremony also saw the signing of purchase and sales agreements between Guizhou C-K'INGDOM Copper Aluminum Co and six other companies, to the value of 160 million yuan ($23.22 million).

C-K'INGDOM Group is a national high-tech enterprise that covers multiple fields including wire and cable manufacturing, the research and development of non-ferrous metal new materials, and the deep processing of copper and aluminum products. In 2018, it constructed Phase I of the Guizhou C-K'INGDOM Baiyun Production Base after receiving approval from the Baiyun government.

The second phase of the project mainly involves constructing cable production workshops, auxiliary buildings, and four water vapor balance continuous vulcanization production lines, with an annual production capacity of 8,798 kilometers of high-end equipment wires and cables.

Additionally, Baiyun has established a mechanism to arrange designated personnel to help enterprises promote projects smoothly. Related departments have made joint efforts to help enterprises solve problems, providing a solid guarantee for enterprise development.
