Baiyun District People's Congress concludes

The second session of the 12th Baiyun District People's Congress successfully concluded on Feb 17.

Of the district's 182 deputies, the number of deputies who actually attended the second session was 174, which met the required number of attending deputies to proceed.

After voting, the session passed the decision to adjust part of the deputies of the special committee of the Baiyun District People's Congress. They also passed resolutions on the government work reports, Baiyun's 2022 implementation plan for national economic and social development, and Baiyun's 2023 plan for national economic and social development.

The session also passed resolutions on Baiyun's 2022 district-level financial budget, along with its 2023 district-wide and district-level budget. In addition, the deputies listened to and handled work reports from the Standing Committee of the Baiyun District People's Congress, the Baiyun District People's Court and the Baiyun District People's Procuratorate.
