Improved technology environment boosts Baiyun platform development

Due to the improvement of its technology innovation environment, Baiyun district in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province sees a rapid increase in scientific research platforms.

To date, Baiyun has had 92 scientific and technological innovation research and development platforms, including 21 at the national level, 55 at the provincial level, and 16 at the municipal level.

Since the beginning of this year, Baiyun has implemented the innovation-driven development strategy by improving its scientific and technological innovation system, further strengthening and developing its main bodies of innovation, and accelerating the construction of innovation carriers.

In so doing, Baiyun formulated the "Baiyun District Implementation Plan on Further Strengthening Scientific and Technological Innovation to Promote High-Quality Development (2022-2025)".

It is committed to guiding and supporting enterprises to carry out scientific and technological research, increasing the output value of high-tech products, and helping to develop new industrialization in the district.

At present, 71 enterprises have been included in Baiyun's high-tech enterprise cultivation database.

Baiyun has continued to guide enterprise technology centers, industrial design centers and incubators to continuously increase R&D investment, and strengthen the accumulation of technological innovation achievements.

Among them, the Guizhou new material technology industry incubator passed inspections to gain its Guiyang technology business incubator certification, and Yipin (Guiyang) Quality Technology Co was approved as a Guiyang medical device and biomaterial industry technology innovation center.

Moreover, Guiyang Yong Qingyidian Technology Co was selected to be on the list of "specialized, refined, featured and innovative" little giant enterprises at the national level.
