All the 30 back streets and alleys in Baiyun district in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, have been renovated or upgraded this year.
The project included the renovation of underground pipe networks, aerial pipelines, roadways, sidewalks, and street lights, as well as the building of new parking lots, culture walls and sports facilities.

Currently, the back streets and alleys include beautiful cultural walls, clean and tidy roads, standardized and orderly parking areas, leisure sports facilities and rest spaces, as well as improved garbage bins.
All of these improvements make the neighborhood environment more beautiful and harmonious.
