A meeting between Baiyun district government and a delegation representing the government of Jiangyin was held in Baiyun on Dec 7. The two sides discussed ways of deepening cooperation and achieving mutual benefits.

Baiyun is located in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, and Jiangyin is a city in East China's Jiangsu province.

Baiyun, as one of Guiyang's central urban areas, has obvious geographical advantages and a solid industrial foundation. It is currently in a critical period of transformation and upgrading, and has broad prospects for development.

In recent years, Baiyun has made every effort to optimize the local business environment, promote the extension of the industrial chain, and accelerate the conversion of traditional and new industries.

The area has managed to deliver significant results and has successfully optimized its business environment, enjoyed rapid economic and social development, as well as improved urban functions and carrying capacity.

Baiyun will learn from Jiangyin's reform paths and advanced concepts and promote the two places to reach a consensus on cooperation, Tang said.

Jiang Qiang, vice-mayor of Jiangyin, echoed Tang's views and expressed his intention for further cooperation with Baiyun at the meeting.
