Baiyun district of Guiyang -- capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- held a number of talks on improvements to its business environment on May 6, according to local media reports.
Zeng Yuhang, deputy director of the College of Public Management of Guizhou University of Finance and Economics, was a keynote speaker. Officials from the district and staff members engaged in upgrading Baiyun's business environment participated in the event.
During the event, experts provided a comprehensive outline on the current regulations there for improving its business environment. They also gave a briefing on its assessment methods, to gauge the business environment annually in Guizhou province -- from the perspectives of sampling rules, time determinations and scoring algorithms.
Participants said the presentation gave them a deeper understanding of business environment and helped them set clearer goals for future work.
