In Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, Baiyun district launched this year's first batch of 16 fully electric buses on Jan 14.

Purchased last December, the buses are environmentally friendly, featuring zero emissions, low energy consumption and low noise.

They also have significant advantages such as a short charging time, long cruising range and high safety performance.

The buses will help accelerate the integrated development of urban and rural public transportation. The vehicles' operation can provide more efficient, convenient, economical and low-carbon public transportation services for the district's residents.

Twenty-eight charging piles have been built and put into use at Baiyun's new passenger station, with a total of 48 charging guns ensuring the operation of the buses.

Going forward, Baiyun district will gradually promote full coverage of new energy buses in the urban area, establish a green and low-carbon public transportation model and continue to offer travel convenience for residents in the district.
