Guiyang, Xingli enhance cooperation on tourism

Guiyang Penglai Urban and Rural Development Co in Baiyun district, in Guizhou province's capital Guiyang, signed an agreement with Xingli Department Store Group (Guiyang) Co on Dec 12 to co-build a tourism project.

According to the agreement, the project is centered on a mushroom-oriented tourist town, which is expected to boost rural tourism and rural revitalization.

The project will have an investment of approximately 150 million yuan ($22.98 million) in its first phase. Relying on Penglai's 4A-level scenic spot, the park will be built into the first national comprehensive tourist resort in Guiyang to feature cultural entertainment, specialty dishes, shopping, folk activities and accommodation facilities.

Baiyun's district government presented their willingness to offer the optimum policy and service environment to promote further development at the signing ceremony.
