Baiyun cloud, a business incubator registered in Baiyun district in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has played its role in promoting private enterprises' growth.
After two phases of construction, this 9,622-square-meter operation incubator in Baiyun was put into operation in June, opening green channels among governmental departments, enterprises and the market.
So far, the platform has held nine talent salons to focus on the ideological and political development of private entrepreneurs.
Focused on the themes of quality improvement and problem-solving, Baiyun has made great efforts to create a better business environment and promote the private economy's sustainable and healthy development.
Baiyun cloud has visited over 400 enterprises and solved 15 problems for the companies.
Hundreds of professionals from the fields of big data, medicine, ecology, finance, management and law, among others, have joined 209 provincial experts and academicians to create a problem-solving cluster for the incubator.
The platform has enhanced the cooperation between financial institutions and private enterprises and helped advance preferential policies during the COVID-19 outbreak.
It has also coordinated more than 80,000 face masks for the resumption of work and collected donations valued at 1.33 million yuan ($201,628).
A total of 296,800 yuan has been donated by local private enterprises to assist poverty alleviation efforts. In contrast, non-public enterprises have assisted impoverished people through funding, projects, technology and other means.
Through Baiyun cloud and other partners, Baiyun district is endeavoring to attract more businesses. According to the Natural Drinking Water Industry Association of Guizhou Province, two drinking water supporting industries from East China's Jiangsu province and Southwest China's Sichuan province have been attracted to Baiyun.
Baiyun has currently introduced 30 enterprises, connected 96 international chambers of commerce, attracted groups of experts and professional teams and established various activity centers.
