The government services center in the Baiyun district of Guiyang -- capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- received a national award during a news conference on government services evaluations held in Foshan city, in South China's Guangdong province.
The evaluation program looked at online platforms, feedback from people and businesses, transparency of information, as well as the hardware and software facilities of 108 government services centers in 36 cities across the country.
Baiyun achieved top marks because it utilized the internet fully to promote government affairs services.
It also established a more intelligent, convenient and efficient services system for locals and enterprises for one-stop solutions, said Zhang Xuelian, director of the services center.
