Guiyang's Baiyun district saw 840 start-ups added in H1

Baiyun district in Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou province in Southwest China, saw 840 start-ups added in the first half of 2020, according to a report by the local market supervision and administration bureau made on July 31.

To ensure the smooth operation of market entities, the district's market supervision authorities have optimized the business environment through various measures.

To facilitate examination and approval procedures, the government and other relevant departments are required to provide one-stop services for handling matters concerning enterprise registration, business licenses, seal engraving, bank accounts and taxes within one working day.

At the same time, efforts have been made to train government staff members to ensure that enterprises and individuals will receive prompt and efficient service.

Statistics show that variation registration conducted by enterprises totaled 1,085, while the number of newly-added individually-owned businesses reached 2,291 and variation registration reached 125. Additionally, 2,323 individually-owned businesses registered online throughout the process.
