Quanhu Scenic Area

Quanhu Scenic Area, in Baiyun district, Guiyang city, is a national 4A scenic spot. Listed as a recreation, tourism, culture and shopping demonstration site, this park covers 1,080 mu (7,200 hectares), and gives people a chance to connect with its lakes, culture and ecological environment.

Entering the park allows people to witness eleven marvelous spectacles, including a sea of stones, a bridge of shifting beauty, unique outdoor stages, a high-tech experience lounge which uses virtual and augmented reality, and a picturesque scene of winter springs and snowflakes.

Also, it is equipped with both the first large outdoor music fountain in Guiyang and a water screen film with a height of over 80 meters. They show a combination of dynamic and static features.

By infusing ecological elements, traditional cultures and modern technology into the park, it plays the roles of leisure, sports, green ecology and cultural tourism, and further boosts the reputation of Baiyun district.

In addition, the park is home to various rare and valuable arbors, shrubs and flowers. Among these are seven species of national protected plants, including camphor tree, ginkgo and peony, as well as at least 240 species of flowers and ornamental plants such as crabapple, wintersweet, red plum and crape myrtle.

The park has unique natural resources and a well-preserved cultural environment, which boasts an ideal climate for tourism all the year round. Its beauty is attracting a growing number of visitors.
