Dynamic district company diversifies to grow its business

Guiyang Penglai Urban and Rural Development Co Ltd has worked hard to promote its business transformation by developing key projects, according to a spokesman.

The company – located in Baiyun district in Guiyang, capital of southwestern Guizhou province – has moved to expand is business operations in the areas of funeral services, edible mushrooms and petrol stations.

The company has improved the running of its cemetery management branch company, aiming to improve its levels of services.

In the year to Oct 30, its sales revenue totaled 4.36 million yuan ($620,000), an increase of 18.48 percent compared with the same period last year.

Meanwhile, Penglai also made great efforts to build its edible mushrooms industry demonstration park, in accordance with the requirements of the province.

The park, which cultivates mushrooms in 8 hectares, has reached preliminary agreements with three companies from Shangdong and Guizhou on building automatic production plants.

In addition, the company has actively developed a network of petrol stations.

There are plans to build a total of five gas stations in the Shatian reservoir and Niuchang areas.

The company has reached a preliminary agreement with Guizhou Bailing Petrochemical Co Ltd.
